Derivative Project

So I chose Keith Carter as my photographer to copy. I think that I did an okay I job at it. I think I can do better. I changed it up a little bit, in Carter's photo, Hands, he had four hand and I just have two and I have a different color effect than he does.

This was a tricky assignment. I really like it though.

 Above is the original picture and what i could change is the color of the leaves and the tint of the water.

So i put a more vibrant color in the leaves. It kind of looks like fire almost. Also i changed the color of the water a tad bit

 In this original I could change the highlights, shadows, brightness and contrast just to show the water droplets on the leaves

So in this edited picture a changed up the shadows and highlights. Also the brightness and contrast were changed a bit

 The original is a great shot but I thought about how it would look if i turned it black and white.

I like this because i the hardness of the tree branches and the sun isnt that bad. I had to change up the blue color because i didnt want to lose the clouds in the background.

Ahh, finally some snow! I went outside last night and it was wonderful time to take pictures. These are my top two favorite pictures of centered composition.

I like this picture because the black and white was so much better than color.

I like the water runs in this picture and the color of the water.

In this picture, i like the double shadow.

Texture.

Ehh, its a little blurry because my shutter speed was so slow, so I tried to fix that.

This is assignment was taking pictures of the alphabet but not the letters it had to look like the letters. This assignment was kinda tough on trying to find some of the letters.

My CD genre was New Wave. So I decided to take my sister and dress her up as Miss Bazaar. Miss Bazaar is this little rebel, punk kinda a girl. I took the CD covers and just added random bright colors. Hope you enjoy!

Light and Shadow.

Ahhh light and shadows. Such an interesting wonder. I like this picture cause of the contrast and also the I like taking pictures of hands haha.

Pumpkins. I thought it would fit the season seeing as how Halloween is just around the corner. I really like a the random colors in the picture and how the sparkles show off. Its pretty neat.

Well I am a little late on this post but at least I got it up! I have to be honest but I took a couple of shots this morning. Oops. But any who I think I like the second picture the best and no its not a dead crow its just fake. I like it because the unusual texture attracts me.
